Canon Slr Cameras Can Sigma Lenses Be Used On Canon SLR Cameras?

Can Sigma lenses be used on Canon SLR cameras? - canon slr cameras

Or is it just a really stupid idea never mix brand camera lenses with different brands?

Yes you can, provided they make a charge. I have a couple of Sigma lenses and glasses are of excellent quality, producing sharp images.

I found a review of this Sigma for you on the popular website camera movement (see links below).

I have the Canon 24-70 mm f 2.8 L zoom (with the Canon 5D) and were more than satisfied.

One thing is not Sigma met) with FTM (full-time manual focus. Then you can adjust the focus at any time, without return MF (manual focus) AF (auto FOCCUS). This species has FTM Sigma, but you have to do (I saw it in stores) pulls (or push, I can not remember which way), the focus ring that can turn you to set the focus. In front of the Canon lens, you just turn the ring. Not move (And the ring you all when the camera is focused) on a topic. I thought you might want to know even. It seems that many think of today, some people, but if you're in a hurry to be "In Focus" easier to rotate the ring, without the push / pull him (or worse, switch to MF).

I have the Sigma 50-500 and Sigma 10-20 wide. I love that wide angle! Super-rugged construction and photographed. You can mix brands, no big deal. I would say that Canon has the advantage over the Sigma, but if you time for Pro .. theres not act. I know that many pro with all the other brands.
