Why is Pepsi Bottling Group asking for your full Social Security Number when apply for a job? Or is it a scam? - pepsi openings

Its process of implementation of the site requires that you enter your name and your Social Security number and birth date!

And not for someone who has been terminated. It belongs to all those who are still exploring their work!
What happened here?

except by applyin http://www.pbg.com/careers/starting_care pepsico.com http://www.pepsico.com/Careers.html ... Pepsi or not, there are fraudsters with fake web pages Pepsi name. If Pepsi is the real site, then just make sure they are working legally

When you ask is one thing. Yes, in some cases I had to give my Social Security number.

However, if you are looking for work, really right. I do not need a check from me navigate, as I, just because they are curious to perform.

If you simply browse their on-site work should be no reason that provide personal information. If you are applying for a job in force when they are obliged to provide such information.

Every job, I asked (and I'm not 82 of one days, one time) requires a number of SS
* Edit * Make sure your site is real and there is no https in the site name, if not contact them personally,

That is not so rare. You may check a criminal background and social security.
